My father is a truly lover of all the old watches and clock. But most of all, he is a huge collector of the old pocket watches. One day, he showed me an incredible one with a lot of engraving inside.
And I had a revelation : it would make a pretty jewel!
At this time, I was an intern for Lauren of Bollywood Bazzar (a leather goods brand). She is a wonderful woman who pushed me to show and sell my design during her exhibitions. Thanks to her, I made my first sell.
So, I went on through more than a year. I opened my online shop on a french platform called A Little Market (since, I closed the shop), I design the graphic ID of the brand, created a website and a page on Facebook. I also try different design on my jewels.
On this project, I was a self-taught person. I learnt by my self how to make jewel, where to buy all the supplies, how to communicate and sell online…
I stopped to sell and design my brand few months after I started my apprenticeship. I couldn’t follow what I wanted to do so I prefered to stop than do something deficient.
