I always had this obsession of bugs, little monsters.

 

In fact, the idea of swarming interested me. The word «swarm» reflects exactly what is going on in my head. And my bugs represent that: every idea, every memory, every anecdote, every moment, is represented by an insect.

 

There is also a desire to create a border between cute and fear, a lonely insect and the combination of several insects. I like the translation of ideas into my insects, insects created with my hands and my imagination.

 

So I created a lot of them in different ways: I weaved them, embroidered them, printed them, sculpter them. I created patterns, I made bags…
